Reconditioning a car battery gets rid of the sulfate from the plates so it can run extra effectively. It does not restore the stamina of the battery to 100%, but it does come close. The lead sulfate that has set and crystallized, which can't be gotten rid of by charging, can be eliminated by an additional process, called desulfation. This is the mo
